Virgin Miami
Flew with Virgin to Miami, and for the extra £250 we would definitely recommend the upgrade to premium seats next time we fly. Stayed in a Turquoise deluxe room, which was fab, 2 minutes walk from the golden beach, and the Beaches Turks and Caicos hotel was set in a beautiful idyllic spot on the island, surrounded by lots of greenery. I think there were 4 pools, plus whirlpools and kids pools etc. I did a lot of the sports whilst I was there, which was all included in the price. I went last January, and it cost £4500 for 2 weeks, as we booked early before 31 October, so we got a discount. Plus, we booked through www.traveleconomy.com who quoted cheaper than Virgin's online quote! We wouldn't go back to Turks, only because it was a once in a lifetime place, but we would travel with Virgin Beaches and Travel Economy again!

Made to Feel Special
My wife and I wanted to get married abroad as we didn't want the hassle. We decided to go with Virgin because we had heard good things about them. They certainly didn't disappoint. They bettered our expectations by some way. Everything they did for us made us feel special.
The wedding was wonderful, our parents had come out to share the event with us, and the wedding organiser took a back seat during proceedings so as not to get in our way. She was fantastic.
In summary, Virgin did everything we asked of them and more. If we can ever afford to go on another holiday like that again I would definitely be flying with Virgin.

1st Time Virgin

As a first time virgineer, i found there website extremely easy to use and it had lots of great information about Orlando, Florida where my partner and myself have wanted to go for some time. I booked the holiday and we received our confirmation immediately by e-mail but then I started worrying being vegetarian on the flight - would they have a meal for me (On another long haul flight with British Airways I booked a Vegetarian Meal but when they got to me they had run out and told me someone obviously had asked for it by accident, so I had 2 bread rolls and some cheese as they had no alternative!), I called Virgin and they pre-booked my meal and I also explained to them that I have a serious problem with anxiety and when around a lot of people I have had panic attacks, the man on the phone was wonderful and really understood he said if I got written proof from my doctor they would upgrade me to premium economy for only £50 each as this had more space and less people. True to their word, that is what they did.
Throughout the flight they were wonderful and when it came to mealtime, they took the special meals out to the correct people first so the wrong meals would not be mixed up and I had a lovely vegetable curry and rice. When I felt dizzy whilst in the plane the stewardess brought me some water and sat with me until I felt better, very personal attention which makes you feel special. The only downside to this flight was no computer games!
The holiday and hotel were wonderful, the only slight problem we had is that our rep didnt turn up on one day but she was back the day after.
The flight back was again wonderful and this time we had computers. I would not hesitate to recommend virgin to anyone, a wonderful service.

Virgin Atlantic - Florida USA
We booked through Virgin on advice from friends who had already flown countless times and were very happy with the delivery of tickets and information. So a breakdown of the holiday:
We were able to check in our luggage the night before departure as we live close to Gatwick. If you are staying in a hotel overnight you can take advantage of the service too… this saved us loads of hassle in the morning and meant we were in the lower seat numbers – a bonus as it meant we didn’t have to sit on the plane and wait for other people to be seated and booked in. We took the opportunity to show the kids the planes taking off which got them very excited for the next morning. The drive to the airport also tired them out somewhat, which meant they slept well that night and were not up all night bugging us asking when we were leaving. It also gave us a chance to choose some holiday reading, as we wouldn’t be spending ages waiting to book in the next morning.
I’m more than happy to help anyone considering going to Florida with Virgin and will answer any questions – there is so much information it is impossible to write everything down in one review. And if you are going – happy holidays and look forward to much much fun.

A trip to Barbados with Virgin Holidays
Me and my husband had a week long holiday in Barbados this October. Although hurricanes in September gave us the chills, wheather was perfect while we were there. Our experience with Virgin Holidays was five star from booking to coming back home.
Booking: I booked the holidays on the internet and it was very easy. Website has a very good layout and easy to use. Resort description was very truthful and staring was appropriate. Virgin does a lot of deals in low season and for the same dates and same resort we saved more than £200 by booking with Virgin instead of BA Holidays. Ah, web exclusive deals were better too. They usually use the same hotels so it's worth checking them both for long haul holidays. You can also buy excursions and dinner shows included in your package which we didn't since we want to have an idea about the island first. Transfers to hotel/ airport were all included so there were no hidden costs to booking. Travel insurance they offer is expensive though, i think it's better to shop arround.
Hope this has been helpful, happy holidays!

I love Virgin Holidays

This is the third time we have booked a holiday with Virgin Holidays. Yes, they can be more expensive than other holiday groups but the reason we have gone back to them again is - the staff are always very helpful. We booked our holiday to Orlando last year, we received a 10% discount for doing it on-line. Then a few months later Virgin were offering free child places (a saving for us of £559). We contacted Virgin and they refunded the cost of the childs place (we had to forfit on-line discount of £251). The last time we went to America with Virgin the flight of 6 hours literally flew in! The seats on the plane are more spacious than any others I have used before, the tv in the seat in front makes the journey easier, the food served was better than food served in some resturants that I have been to. The staff made sure that everyone one the plane not only were comfortable but were also enjoying the flight. A highlight for me was the male and female cabin crew swapping clothes for the whole flight.
